Well, here she is. I noticed that if I press the vol. control in a little, it stabilises the control a little. I am probably going to drop by a friend of mine this week to have it checked out, and if I can order a replacement, I am going to try

Well, I fixed the volume pot with help from a friend, and I think that I am going to have to replace the tape belt. It is sounding good now, and I have a feeling that this is going to be my new favorite!

Well, besides the volume pot being absolutely CAKED with crap, not too much. I actually had to open the entire box to get in there.. There is a loose pin inside that was also causing a short between channels, but good news: the pot can be ordered online. Im thinking of getting a new one for posterity.

I am thinking that the belt is bad on the tape player, that will be the next fix...
