Just a heads up for you guys if you are thinking of bidding on a WM-DC2 on ebay, links below.
I e-mailed this seller to check on the main gear condition, he replied to say yes it is making the ticking noise. He did not post my question or the answer but has posted other questions and answers.
He is still selling it as perfect working order, so beware if you are bidding on this unit.

I notice his prices have also gone up, $200 for a Sold “as is”, No guarantee, no return and no refund WM-W800, is to much. Can get this model for $99 elsewhere.

It has a broken center gear ask him about this a few months ago when he listed it and said that they all have broken center gears. "Don't buy this and that clip doesn't go with that unit etheir"
Go to the ask a question and ask him about this problem he will reply back hopefully honestly , then it goes on the listing for everyone to see.
