Yesterday I received this monster from our very own L Lopez - this is the largest box I have - it's even bigger than GF-777! It was carefully packed and the shipping took only a couple of days - it's absolutely mint and fully working - what a great addition to my awesome collection!
Thank you!

Vladi what's that mini underneath the sharp?
Congrats on the Sharp it looks really nice.
Ya, I know - M70 next to this Sharp looks like a Walkman next to M70!!
This is the only 3 piece box in my collection - the one and only
vladi --it looks big enough
does it sound that big ?
I can't even turn up the volume half way - without my ears starting to bleed
This boombox was the second most powerful boombox EVER made (after Sharp GX-88) - and as far as I can tell - it was top of the line in 1985 Sharp's line
I might let it go for $1100 plus shipping
Almost as big as Hillary's bomboxes!
Very nice Vladi!
.Hi Vlad; I'm happy it arrived safe and sound, Sorry about the excess bubble wrap, But didn't want to take any chances, I'm glad your happy with it, As to me that is my #1 priority making sure of that. Take care Vlad
.
Thanks everybody for your comments!!
And yes, the excess bubble wrap was a good idea - I had no problem with that
+1 on too much bubble wrap. You can never have enough,if you do you could send it to Walkgirl. She likes to pop it.......
Congrats vladi my friend btw what sharp is it?.

Congratulations! You'll have fun with it for sure.
I let my HK-9000 go to Chris, (Kittmaster) for fixing this power house (Photo below) which I can tell you firsthand, will run with and actually sounds better than the HK. I'm not sure which one was top of the line between the two though as the main difference between them other than looks is the 939z has auto reverse decks, spectrum analyzer, and three way speakers. The HK has Tape 1 speed adjustment, and instrument, mic, and master volume controls.
Congrats Vladi! This Box is a very heavy and very loud monster! I love it too.
Tim, the model number is HK-9000
Oldskool, thanks! Ya, your Sharp is beautiful - I've always liked that model. Yours was Sharp's top of the line in 1987, mine was in 1985. Also, just FYI - your model was in production until 1993 - and it was one of the last *proper* boomboxes from Sharp. If I see one on Ebay - I would totally buy it
Blasterpunk, thanks! Yes, this is the biggest and heaviest box in my collection! That Condor on top of your Sharp - does it sound as good as Sharp? Or they only copied the looks?
here is my Elta...i think it's the same model

Excellent 3 piece Vladi
You could do "shrugs" with that thing, get some massive traps

Ya, what I couldn't do with that thing - find a place for it!! This box is so freaking huge (and heavy) - there's nowhere in my house to put it - I'll have to buy some furniture for it. But I really like it though - so it's ok (never thought I'd say THAT about a 3-piece box)

I dig the lights in the speakers on that Elta AK.
What a beauty, 939z! Wish to find one in good condition. Btw there is one Pana, i do not remember model no, same features but has two supertweeter per box speaker where one of the supertweeter facing 45 deg outward.
congrats valdi...the box is a beast...i use have one myself at one time then sold it...back in the 80s we use to call it the rambo-box..
