Formerly known as lilasonne and 4elowek25 and galaktikafree8, this person sells 10-12 radios per week on Ebay Germany, so you would expect that he knows how to package them safely. But he doesn't. He uses shredded paper or styrofoam peanuts, allowing the radio to move inside the package. He does not brace the unit at all.
The other problem is that he neglects to describe technical flaws. I have purchased 4 boxes from him. 1 was in flawless condition, but the others had problems he failed to mention.
No matter what he is selling, he provides a very basic 2 or 3 line description. He will say things like "Good condition....Radio and tape player functional." But he will not mention minor problems. For example, maybe the tape deck runs slow, or one of the woofers needs to be refoamed, or one of the tweeters produces no sound at all, or maybe the balance is unequal between left and right. 3 of the units I purchased from him had those problems, and he never mentioned them. He feigns ignorance, or perhaps he does not think it is worth mentioning. I disagree.
It is a shame, because he lists some very unique hard-to-find units.

i would never buy of someone that only provides a basic 2 or 3 liner, surely after your 2nd purchase you would of known better
I was willing to take the risk because they were pretty rare boxes.
fairplay, atleast you know now, there,s nothing worse than getting a box from somebody that,s been described as new only to find it,s far from it.
it,s happened to me once or twice and now im very cautious
He has 10-12 radios on Ebay every week, so my guess is he simply doesn't take the time to inspect them thoroughly. He has over 99% good feeback in all 3 of the accounts he's used, so most people do seem to like him. But, I'm not going to take the risk anymore. I don't feel I should be expected to ask 20 questions about every possible flaw a box might have. He doesn't answer every question anyway.
nuff said, by the way reli cool vu on your avvy mate, is it taken of a box??
cool, there the nicest needle vu,s iv,e ever seen

But if you compare the ending value of a box sold in Germany, to the same model of box sold in the US........ the US is usually higher.

And now he is metafizika8, gee I wonder why he is changing names again?

I've seen a lot of stereos from him too. A lot of good looking units. I have found no problems with German sellers who are willing to ship to the UK, though I have not bought from him but have been wary of him from his descriptions.
I have got some bargains from ebay Germany too and I find it to be cheaper than the UK. You can see m70's going for just over 100 quid and shipping is not that expensive either at around 20-25 quid. You can also buy a cheaper J-1 than the recent one bought on eBay UK including shipping from Germany.
No matter where you buy from in the world on eBay, its always a punt.
And now he calls himself 8yiqing8
http://shop.ebay.de/8yiqing8/m.htmlThat makes 6 different names in 2.5 years......LOL
And now he is mexikokaktus44.
And now he is
orchideeblume77. I don't get it......Does this guy create a new account every time he gets a negative? (I have no idea if that's what happened, but I can only speculate).
