well i still have to pay for it but i got ira's sweet crown 850 the same color as the m90 i'm going to pay for it with my tax rebate check so i'm not sitting on money ira was beyond cool in fronting me the box until my rebate check comes so i had to jump on this bad ass crown i call it the crown m90 cuz it is pretty damn awesome sounding and what a beauty as well this thing really delivers the goods ,it's loud with plenty of authority and the knobs are first class ,it's so simple but so elegant at the same time all i can say is if you don't have one you're missing out on a real sweet box that can hang with the big boys ,thank so much ira. i'll post some pics of the battleship crown as soon as i can.

i always liked the 850 best of the crowns imho.

i think i have a strap that will fit it from a camcorder case .

ok- well i just now looked in the BBDB , and there are a bunch of 850 shots -- but none had straps -- --may never have come with them .
so maybe we are just supposed to use those top handles ??

But realy theese are great boxes sound is real impressive for a crown and those love handles mmm congrats to both of you on a good deal

i think this crown jewel is just a step below the m90 sound wise but the bass actually sounds better than the m90 just not as powerful as the but the m90 has always been a box with power to spare so i think overall the crown could take on the m90 it wont win but it would put up a damn good fight.

Coming from you jvc floyd sounds like that Crown is a contender good to know.

yep thats why i call it the crown m90 pound for pound baby brother of the m90 to me.iv'd had 2 m70's and the crown 850 just kicks thier a$$es.make no mistake the crowns tape deck is pre historic compared to the m90 it doesnt stand a chance againt the monarch of mayhem m90 in that department but the crown is so potent sound wise it's great substitute for the m90 when i go prowilng for unsuspecting modern eggs to embarrass.

I agree with this got my crown on now and the only thing that makes my m90 bass better is because of the mod, but i remember when i got my crown i was blown away, this beast has balls and mine is as clear as the m90, the only thing that realy lets the crown down is the fact it hasn't got a propper handle.

yep you could take on alot of good boxes with the crown with confidence no slouch in the sound department.and the woofers really jump good on this bad boy .

This in part floyd is why i knock the m90 so much there a great box yes better deck dolby etc and a handle lol but there just not worth the money they fetch when you compare it to something like this crown i mean i paid what £70 max for it and yes it's not mint no arials etc but theese never go for that much, i don't think i have seen one fetch above £200 ever.
