Went to see Paul A.K.A Pacwestuk in Reading last week, about 230 mile round trip in terrible weather.

Bagged myself a few very nice units though so it was a very worthwhile trip, got an absolutely beautiful almost unmarked GF8989 and a bunch of other tidy mid sized units for a pretty good price.

Would definitely recommend members to deal with Paul if he's got something you want, he's a genuine dude.

Sigh, I don't think in this day and age theres any real need for any of this. If you guys have an arrangement go south then please sort it out like adults. If one is not willing to play then it's time to move on and learn that the other party needs to grow up. But in the meantime please try and sort it in PM?

Now obviously this post was met with a little hostility regarding a deal gone bad. My experience dealing with Pacwestuk was a good one and that's what I'm going on when I say he's a genuine dude, no disrespect to you chancenellie. I hope it can be sorted out or forgotten about soon, I do remember some posts from/between you guys some time ago about this . . .

i don,t know about dusting off your collection KND, you might have to dust off your camera aswell mate

I too have had several dealings with Paul (pacwestuk). All have been kosher & pleasant & all have been face to face.
The first time I met him, he said he really didn't like dealing any other way because it often leads to trouble. When you're at his place, you can have a good tryout of any of the 100s of boomers he has, agree a price over a cup of tea & go away a happy bunny.
Of course I understand it's not possible for everyone to get to his place (one time I was there I bought a boomer on behalf of an s2g member from L.A. & shipped it to him).

What's happened here doesn't sound ideal by any means, but my advice is to keep communicating with Paul & he'll see you right in the end. Sure, his financial situation may not always be perfect (who's is these days?), but IMHO he's an honest guy.
