Since you haven't actually done business with this seller, and you actually don't know enough about the box to know whether it was manufactured by Toshiba (or any other major brand- Sears didn't make their own electronics at that point), why bash out of ignorance? Read the auction description- he isn't ignoring the fact that it's a Sears model.
It's a nice box, I have a few of them. Not worth the asking price in my opinion, but as I am constantly reminded, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
I've contacted that seller to ask a few questions- he's a nice guy. Perhaps you are the same person who posted that question on Ebay? I see a pattern here.....

thats a nice looking box...loving the blue tuner section and the needles as well...also like the molded date 1984
Why even bother talking to a guy who asks $375 plus $129 shipping even though he lives in the same state as me? Plus he only has 95% feedback, which is very low compared to most people. I wouldn't risk more than $70-80 for it. Certainly not $375.

If you were really interested, you might have noticed the "or best offer". There are plenty of folks posting seemingly high prices, some take best offers but others listen to offers. Why not make an offer? Worst they can say is no.
The shipping listed clearly wouldn't apply to domestic USPS addresses. Again, if you are actually interested, make an offer and inquire about a domestic, non-priority USPS rate.
95% positive is not perfect, agreed. So talk to the guy, spend a few minutes going through his feedback history, and see what you think about him afterwards.
