Maybe I'm just ignorant, and to focussed on expanding my "Just started" boombox collection, but i got this feeling i'm getting ripped off.

I won this auction on Ebay jan 20 2008. Payed for the box with paypal.

Now 23 days later I still haven't received the Box.

On january 30 the seller emailed me that he had send the box.

He has to send the box from Germany to the Netherlands, so this shouldn't take so long.

I still don't have it.

I emailed the seller about three times after
if he has a track and trace number or something
but he doesn't respond anymore.

I know I'm a little paranoid, but I started to collect a few months ago, and i'm really excited about it.

Since you guys are more Pro then I'am.
Maybe you got some advice for me?
It was my first time buying something with this whole ebay thing?

As you may notice I try to keep things nice and I'm not gonna mention the name of the seller and type of the boombox yet.

My advice is to file a claim with Paypal and Ebay immediately do not wait. Paypal gives 45 days to file a dispute, even if lets say he did send the item file a dispute anyway!!

Pass GO, collect your wits, get to PayPal Resolution and open dispute...state your issues....IT'S YOUR MONEY, DO IT NOW.

Good luck youngerathear2007, everybody gave you sound advice. Now if the seller is legit he should respond quickly but if he doesn't at least you can get your money back.

Good choice. You can always rescind the unreceived item complaint as well as the Paypal dispute if the radio arrives as advertised.

The important thing was to get the complaints in while you still have the chance to, which you did. It never ceases to amaze me how communicative sellers get once you slap one of these complaints on them.

STILL, haven't heard from him YET!!!

48 hours and no response to the dispute, sounds like you did the right thing. Every time I have opened a dispute the response was almost immediate for the legit sellers or there was never a response and I got my money back.

I hate it when this happens,
I really hope to see my money back
