No NoBeware of seller on ebay, He is not using his own pics, He is using my own personal pics.
Just b ecareful cause the boombox his selling is not what the pic show. It might not even be no boombox at all and might take the $$ and leave. No No
His listing: Ebay Listing
His last listing before canceling Item # 120673585836
Or check on his completed listing. Is the same pic but was shrunk.
No No
What a hard head.
This is the actual boombox I took to the Sunshine meeting last year. Remember, Together with the A2.

He added a comment to the bottom of his auction.

jlf - 2011-01-19 09:23

Yeah, these things are too expensive to risk losing your $$$.

Looks like he has a small collection of good boxes, and is selling a Discolite too. Perhaps he is a member?

weetabixears - 2011-01-19 11:14

nice 1 for the heads up not that i was going to buy it but good to know there is others that help looking out good one atb daz

l.lopez - 2011-01-19 17:09

aww man I contacted ebay about and inform them to log in booboxery & Stereo2Go on the for sale section so they can see for themselves. Well ebay just inform me that they'll get back to me in 24 hours.

driptip - 2011-01-19 18:12

hey lopez that happened to me too, a seller was using my pics, i talked to eba and he had to remove the pics.

l.lopez - 2011-01-19 19:59

Confused I reported this douch like 5 times to ebay, And because they have no records of me having the pics is nothing they can do, I explain to them I sold the box in 2008 so those records are gone so when they check on the transaction # theres nothing cause is so old the transaction. I mention to ebay that to log in here Stereo2Go and scroll down to the sale section and to see my actual pics, They said they will look into it. So I have to wait 24 hours. Confused

reli - 2011-01-19 23:21

Dude there is no way they don't have an archive of your auction in 2008. There would be no reason to delete it. Their servers probably have hundreds of thousands of terrabytes. They are just too lazy to dig it up. Same thing with logging onto S2G, they won't do it because they would have to register first before being able to read posts.

Smile Your so right reli, I guess I'll leave it alone. Leaving

im.out.of.hear - 2011-01-20 07:41

i saw an auction the other day and the seller was using one of my old box pics,i think its a sharp GF575,but stuff like that does'nt bother me much, when i saw it i just thought
"oh look, theres a pic that i took of my box years ago"
i dont have a problem aslong as they admit its not their picture, but the guy said that its not his pic in the auction so i'm ok with that, its only a picture at the end of the day..

radio.raheem - 2011-01-20 08:59

i cant see the big deal as ghettoman has stated

l.lopez - 2011-01-20 15:06

SmileWell the fact that he mentions is not his makes me feel better as now buyers know what they are actually bidding. To me that is more important then anything else. Nod Yes

ghettolife - 2011-01-20 20:33

Lopez, I saw your Telefunkens in your slide show, nice.

bods - 2011-01-21 04:18

Can always report the listing to ebay for using your pics and the item will get removed Smile

themobcrew - 2011-01-23 11:30

I asked if he does pick up. He never got back to me. Enough said.

can't understand why people keep buying radios on epay when they know a large percent of the boxes on there are being sold by crooked sellers who either lie about the condition and or pack the box so poorly that it gets completely smashed by the time it arrives to them. must be dense or just want something to complain about on here due to boredom.

just speaking the truth why keep messing with ebay when 8 out of 10 stories you read on here are negative ones?? pretty dumb Laugh Out Loud

im.out.of.hear - 2011-01-25 16:30

people have to buy from ebay because there is no where else to buy from..i have sold loads of boxes on the bay,i'm an honest seller and i have listed all "if any" issues they had,if sellers are truthfull there should'nt be a problem, but i agree,i've bought a few boxes in the past where the seller has lied, the last box i bought, the seller lied the biggest lie possible, the box was f*cked, needed lots of work but he did'nt list the issues..i paid £220 for it,it was shagged, and the seller knew it,i tried to open a dispute,i complained to ebay, they told me i had to ship it back to the seller, which would have cost me £100,which i would'nt get back, that was ridiculous, they expect me to buy an item for £220,then return it costing me £100 just to get my £220 back, ebay is f*cked up in many ways, theiving sellers, ridiculous ebay rules, rippoff ebay fees..and the honest people lose out..

l1 - 2011-01-25 20:21

seems like you hit the nail on the head. why put yourself through all that stress? one would be better off to stick to buying boxes on this site since members here seem to know what they are talking about and will give honest descriptions. ebay sucks a$$

That would be true if more people listed their boxes here. But most of them don't. Probably because they know they can get more $$ on Ebay.
