Hello to everyone !
Those 2 boxes came with me this week !
The Sanyo unforunately has some some issues
and needs to get repaired 
The Rising except from the dust is working fine !

The Sanyo was bought for 5 euros is a model M9996 it's a one piece box you can find more info for this beauty here-------->

Right now the Sanyo is getting repaired by a technician
since i don't know anything about repairing the boxes !!
The Rising was given to me by a friend it is a model STP-1000 and i never saw it before anywhere,not even here!
I don't like the looks of it i am more into the early to mid 80's look.
I think this comes from 1975 till 1979 judging by the look.
Anyways i cleaned it and here are some photos with it for everyone to enjoy!
Indeed is built like a tank and the sound of it is bassier than i thought. It Plays really really nice! The speakers are locking at the back with a mechanism and looks like a briefcase!

I didn't realize the Rising was "colapsable" One question though, is there a switch to turn of the lights or do they come on only when AC power is connected?
I'd imagine these little lights eat up a significant amount of battery life....

@Bruttus442 The lights are on only on ac power .When the box is on batteries
there is a switch that you push to see how much batttery life remains next to the VU meter.
