Just a nod, to hughes, for the superb m90, and, bomb-proof, triple box packing. 3 of us, were trying to open it all up. When we, finally, got the m90 out. My friends wife say`s "where does the cd go then".

deliverance - 2012-12-02 08:25

nice addition rich ,   you are quietly getting on with the buisness of collecting

litfan - 2012-12-02 08:31

The hobby, has changed so much though chris. When i started collecting, you could get, virtually, any box, for a decent price. Now, ebay sellers, have seen the prices these things are realizing, and, are jumping on the band wagon. My friend, who was here with his wife, said, i bet that guy in germany, was rubbing his hands, when he saw your radio`s.

docs - 2012-12-02 08:35

Congrats on getting that box. Agree with Chris, you are getting some serious boxes, nice one !!

Congatulations Litfan!

Please share some pics if you like

litfan - 2012-12-02 08:43

I`d rather not deech. I think, we have seen enough m90`s for now. I prefer to see the rare one`s. This is one hobby, that has become financial, instead of fun, but, that`s the way of the world.

It s quite sad that turned this way .

I dont like it this way and if you ask me i appreciate and admire the classic boxes but if i never find one of those at a good price then i dont care.

Where i live the boxes are out on the streets to find them.

Not too many people are involved with this hobby here.

Its not a desert land if you are out on the hunt!

litfan - 2012-12-02 08:54

I`ll tell you the truth deech. I had a feeling it would. I enjoyed it, while it lasted.

lav.loo - 2012-12-02 08:57

congrats Litfan, your now one of the elite few

litfan - 2012-12-02 09:01

Again lav. It`s one of those boxes, i never forgot the sound of. I wonder, if the price will ever come down, or, go up and up?

samovar - 2012-12-02 09:02

for some it's FIN, for others it's FUN

some like it hot, some like it cold,

some like it in the pot, nine days old:

that's the way of the world

litfan - 2012-12-02 09:24

Who needs pam ayres, when we have samovar .

litfan - 2012-12-02 09:27

You are going to say "who`s pam ayres?" Have a scan on youtube.

northerner - 2012-12-02 09:33

It's all fun for me mate! Not got enough money for big boxes so I just accept I can't have one and enjoy the ones I have

Pam Ayres...that's a memory from the past that shouldn't be resurrected! LOL

litfan - 2012-12-02 09:40

That`s good northener, a good way to think. When i started, you dreamt of owning an m90, gf777, etc.

i would imagine for the next 10 years or so prices will keep rising or atleast stay as they are.

in time though these boxes along with everything else on earth will start rotting away from the inside out, then they will be of no value

northerner - 2012-12-02 10:38

Well someone's a bit doom and gloom

lav.loo - 2012-12-02 10:40

i'm more of a realist than a pretender Si

ive seen a couple go on ebayde for around £150 recently..

northerner - 2012-12-02 12:19

I'd stretch to an M90 only if prices dropped to clarets valuation, even then it would be way over my budget LOL!
