hey guys have had dealings with this guy before "Stynger007" got ripped off with a faulty box and damaged, 2 years ago think he is or use to be a member on here or boomboxery, doesn't seem to sell on the forums but rather sells on ebay, his adds usually state that the boxes he sells are in great condition, and puts a lot of bumf into his ebay listings, 

anyway here's the craic, i seen a clairtone 7980 on ebay Canada was advertised as buy now for $925 canada dollars pm'd him to see postage price and that i was really interested in the box, his prices changed from $160 to $200 i asked if i could organise my own courier as ive done this for a box i bought from Australia, he said no i asked the courier company he will be using Canada post surface mail, then the penny dropped i thought this is the same guy i bought the damaged box before from the discolite that had lights out broken case and really tacky that he advertised and showed me a photo of and video not a recent video not the same box that i received from him, the box took 2 months to get here to the uk. how fitting there was nothing i could do to claim or get a refund back as it was 2 months after the sale.

Well i gave him the benefit of the doubt as i really wanted to get hold of a clairtone i asked him could i use my own courier company as i could get it cheaper and it would drive my total cost and budget down as you get charged import duty and tax into the Uk, i asked could you do the box any cheaper to get my costs down he said all in he could do it for $1000 shipped but will be using his courier as he wanted to be covered at his end, I thought ok went into ebay buy it now and wen't to pay with paypal, would not let me continue said contact seller for postage, so i did i asked can you make the price $1000 on your ebay listing so that i could pay for it, then i get a pm saying what is your email address i gave him it, next thing get paypal request for money, i asked will i still be covered by ebay, he told me no the price would go up if i was to buy through ebay, well trying to bring my costs down i agreed, all was well, until later i asked can you make sure the box is packaged really well as the last time i got a box fom you it got damaged in transit, this is when he got funny with me saying he couldn't send it to the uk even though his listing states he sends it to europe, today i got an email saying the seller has refunded your payment, this guy has something to hide i would like to warn anyone who is thinking of buying anything from this guy, don't get stung by Stynger or Stinger a name that is more fitting for him.

don't get caught out guys and girls anyone can put a listing together on ebay take photos remember think with your head not your heart.

sometimes when you want something bad everything goes out the window, don't get Stung by Stinger...

 Dear Paul did I not refund you within 2 hours of the transaction? And since you brought it up, the discolite you bought from me was not the one you sent in your photos , it had old melded glue residue on the cabinet from what looked to be tape. The photos I provided on the listing were not like that at all.I asked you about it, you said you put tape on it to hold it together. I called you on it and you never responded. This entire frivolous complaint  is retaliation for you dodging my direct questioning as to the condition of the radio which was not the original one i sent you but an identical unit you sent pictures of.

 There is a good reason I use the same nickname on here, the other site and ebay. I have nothing to hide and I am easy to find.

i think it all went wrong when you told stynger007 that you previously received a damaged box from him,tbh if it was me i would be reluctant to send such a big heavy expensive box like a conion half way around the world when you already had a deal gone wrong 

i personally think he's a straight up guy that don't want the headache of sending it that's all

i'm not taking sides here but that's just how i see it from the outside buddy

It's worth noting to readers that we have not received any further evidence to suggest Stynger007 is a bad seller.

The above transaction clearly went wrong but it's not clear nor conclusive whether any single party is to blame.
