Dear Paul, the transaction could not be completed and you know the reason why. I refunded you your money within 2 hours of you paying. I wish you well Paul, and best of luck finding a C-100 or 7980 closer to home that may have more reasonable shipping costs.

 If anyone here has any questions, please feel free to ask. If I was "dodgy" I certainly would not use the same username here, on the other site and ebay as well.

Hmmm, yeah, sounds messy.  Has anyone else had dealing with this seller?  Also, do we have reason to suspect this may be another alias to other well-documented Canadian Conion/Claritone sellers?

Stynger/ Stinger you operate outside of ebay rules, even though you advertise on ebay, you don't advertise or sell your bomboxes on  a boombox forum why, plus i have all the proof of the kind of boxes you sell, also the comunications via ebay and email you change prices on your listings for your profit gains you are not genuine you know exactly the kind of member you are, hope you can sleep straight at night, i'm a lover of boomboxes who will hunt long and wide for the love of boomboxes, i have purchased from all over the world for my hobby, you use your username because you got busted.

OK, my bad, didn't register the above comment.   Are we good to put this down to a messy one-off based on a few miscomunicated misunderstandings and move on?

or am I simply butting into a conversation which really needs to be had via PM?

You know exactly why shipping was refused . I will not respond to any more allegations, but will be happy to repost your emails from 2 years ago , what this entire fiasco is about.I called you on it, and you faded from view.Why didn`t you follow up then? You saw a chance to retaliate, took it , until I pulled your emails from my saved folders and then remembered what the problems were.You quickly received a refund within 2 hours of the "purchase" of the Clairtone. I am sure refusing to ship to a problem buyer and adjusting the price on a product I own  is completely out of line and all should condemn.
