hey si,what do wives know lol-glad you got your old sharp back tim lad,i remember that 939 in your house,was tempted by it but had a feeling it was precious so i didnt ask about it-nice to know shes back in your hands again and the perfect guy to do the bizzo withi know how you feel tim man,got my hitachi trk 9900 back this week and im loving her to bits,shes a serious machine and i love her to bits....as for the stickers i agree with si,just take off the one on the SA-so you can see those bars of light dance around,but leave the rest on

cheerz andy lad....people say these sound better than the m90...not sure about that but can't compare as my m90 is buried in my back room....the spectrum a is just superb...

would love to take her out and blow the streets away but sadly i aint been out with a box in about 5 years now lad

Another thumbs up from me for docs ... fantastic service in getting my first box (his Sharp 9494E) posted out with enough bubble wrap and foam quavers to protect it from all out armageddon.

So now I'm feeling the love for 80s silver/ chrome finished analogue portables to go with my vinyl collection, record deck and valve amp. Feel like a walkman might be next on my shopping list ... need to start saving again

Also, want to allow hook up to ipod ... so will be looking to fit a bluetooth module inside (so as not to damage or change anything that can't be reversed later if necessary) ... if anyone has advice on do's and don't's it would be appreciated but suspect there'll be a post or two on here somewhere.
