Made the trip to Dave's (Docs) place a couple of weeks back to check out his most excellent collection of boxes  I picked up the Sharp GF-9191 and Philips D8614 he had for sale; both in top nick with everything working as described. I would highly recommend dealing with Docs; he's a really helpful and knowledgeable guy.

It was a real pleasure to meet you Dave, cheers for having us and for bringing out so many great boxes for me to listen to - received quite an education! 

Was giving them both a listen to out in the garden on Friday, so took a pic of them shining in the sun for the forum!  

Great stuff Tom, how do they sound

As you well know Az, the D8614 sounds tip top, especially with the loudness and spatial stereo control on, plus the line in is great! The 9191 sounds decent too, particularly on lower volumes, but you can't really use the line in with my ipod or phone so it gets less use from me.
