Nothing wrong with a WM 33 (I think that's what it is). Sound I thought was quite reasonable for a budget unit although H/phones are nothing great. Certainly better condition that mine was! Did it cost you much?
Does not load here
But I believe it is a nice walkman!
Nice score, did it come with the complete box?
Excellent find.. love red walkmans. I was watching that one .. you got it from guy in Israel. Yeah it came with box. He had another unit two both were budget models as I remember. Seems after a year of collecting nearly 1/3 of my 260 players are from Sony. Now only going for the rare or high end new ones.

Be careful with the rare highend one, I notice alot of shady sellers with over 20 different accounts on these high priced units, got scam on two already one guy never sent item other one came broken.
How do you tell a seller has several accounts on e-bay?
html scripting is the same in all his ads and user info is the same and the same location, also notice he buy items on one account then he sells it on another account, the same user id. just adds numbers at the end. Look for a pattern pretty much.
I get it! Thanks, I'll be on the watch for that.
I really don't check ebay for walkmans to buy. I do have a special "cassette" search set up. I see about 40 a day and most are "COBY" or cassette car stereos. The couple times I saw something good I didn't win(although I did bid it up through the roof! LOL)--the whole point of beating the bushes for an uninformed listing is to be the only bidder. I've passed on some unique ones too; a 7up clear cassette player just sold to a single buyer on Friday. Also an unbuilt NIB Radio Shack walkman, electronic do-it yourself kit that would have gone cheap, but no buyers.
Does anyone have information about small stereo radios which predate the Walkman? If anyone is knowledgable about these, I would like to know manufacturers, model numbers and, if possible, years of introduction. Thank you for any information!

Hattori Seiko
Mr. FM
198?. Seiko's Mr. FM is probably one of the small FM radios ever sold. Its design was simple and appealing--it consisted of two pieces that hooked to the ear with rubber hooks. They were connected by a single insulated wire, and that was it, no cassette-sized receiver, no belt clip, nothing. One side had a battery compartment and off-hi-lo switch for controlling power and volume, the other had a tuning knob; both powered sound to the ears. Mr. FM was elegant and simple, but some reason the concept never took off. To our knowledge, this was Seiko's only endeavor into the portable stereo market.
ok need a picture now .... Your turn
Hi,
Is it stereo? If so, wrap it up!
Thanks.

www.audiokarma.orgWould someone please tell me how to access this site? It will not let me register, saying my email address is already in use. But, when I ask for my password, they say they do not recognize my address! To top it off, the 'moderator' ignores my requests to untangle this catch 22.
Thank you.
The mods there can be a little slow at times, same thing happened to me but no problem, they did fix it.
