Have found a model I was after (one of the last 2 - 3 models I want to get before my obsession reaches critical mass). Seemingly brand new. Yes I know it's not strictly the type celebrated on S2GO...but it's still rather fab. If you've ever seen a DAT tape you'll know just how small this thing must be.

Lovely WM - not so lovely price

I like that and will hold off bidding (you found it!). I am a DAT novice. What year did they make this one? I just like DAT because it's being featured in popular science/mechanics magazines in the '70-80's when I grew up. I actually considered a DAT instead of CD and remember looking at the various units at a stereo store.
About your collection, if you like it; what better thing to spend a couple bucks on? I know most people regret our silly stock market investments. What do we have to show? Mega losses. You can always sell your good quality stuff for at least as much you bought. Enjoy your interests!

This one I think was from around 1993, but I may be out a little. Would love to get one, but I would not pay anywhere near what the above auction BIN price is. This guy is just "chancing his arm", taking a chance that someone will absolutely love it and shell out stupid money at the same time. Be interesting to see how much it goes for.
