ah the day when the cassette was KING. Very nifty find and never used. Time to get a old schwin with huge wide tires and slap that baby on and ride away into the aussie sunset .

I seen many toy cassette stuff at the thrift store.
Barbie boombox, Little tikes, talkgirl, some others I cant remember.
Oh no I cant start a toy collection so I left them.

I could use it on my shopping buggy.



Somthing like this is what I use to get the boombox's out of the thrift stores.

I put batteries in this today and gave it a go. Suprising cassette performance, Excellent radio too. Twin speakers and all totally waterproof. All I need now is a Harley!

Mercy, does that look cheap. I've seen surprisingly reliable playback from off-brand units, but I bet it has a dreadful op-amp and tape head that only compares well to a pocket memo recorder :/

What do you listen to? Maybe you can take a picture of yourself on ya' bike. I envision a Mad Max type of sceanerio...
