Seems like prices for the rarer models in past 6 months are really going up. Auto reverser sold one in Jan.09 WITH headphones for $155. Now this one just player ONLY and case gets almost twice as much ?? What do you all think , worth this? Was the DD9 only made in 89/90 or more years and anyone have idea how many total made ????

The service manual is dated "1990.2" and MDR-E575 headphones came with the DD9.

NC-6WM battery is used in this model.

I id pay about €50 for my dd9 walkman
I never will sell it as it is nice

mine didn't come with the original headphones -
and i was quite happy with the price mine scored...

but anyway: JE, you're right, generally prices are quite high at the moment, good to have those rare ones in the drawer by now...

people are not smart.
using a dd9 you also need a good tape deck and TT.

285$?!? that is way too much! DC2 is a better sounding walkman anyway. And yeah, you need a good source, a good deck and a quality tape. But come on... 285$ is really madness. I paid less for my entire collection. DC2 I got for free
