I got a nice suprise in the post today. I won a Sanyo M-G70 last week but couldn't find any info on it anywhere so i just bidded £5.
Anyway, got it today. Not only is it mint but it's great. Imagine a Sony WA-55 with dual mics, radio, internal speaker & aerial. Complete with standard Sanyo stereo cassette playback/record.
Not quite a M-G5550 but not far off. I'll post a pic when I can be arsed but I'd love any info on it if you can find some.
Note: I have been looking for a Sanyo Mr-S1 for years now, it's nearly top of my wish list. Imagine a recording unit based on the glorious M-G5550 internals.
