I'm hoping someone could help me out here, can anyone please tell me a little about Sony WM35 i.e. was it any good etc? Also does anybody have a picture or any details of the correct headphones that came with this unit.
Secondly, I have just discovered my Sony FX493 and was going to throw it out, then I also found the box and wondered if anyone here might be interested in it. However, I have to warn you that the Walkman is rather battered and there has been leakage from the batteries. It does play though and the box is pretty mint with all of the paperwork and plastic bag they were in and even the original bubblewrap bag from around the Walkman. If this is something that may be of interest i'll try and load some pictures on here and if someone wants it i'll put it on eBay as a 24 hour listing.
Thanks.

SONY WM FX493 - not high on my list...
SONY WM FX493 didnt sellI have the boxed outback version of one of these
The box w/ papers may be of some value to somebody that has one of these in good shape but no box to go with it... yes some people just sell the [ old ] box's that old stuff came in - yes there is a small market for old original box's that old stuff came in - even if you dont have the old thing that came in whatever box
Sony WM 35 Sports Cassette Walkman didnt sell over there either
Now I actually like the WM-35, despite being a basic unit it's actually very iconic. More importantly this is the first Walkman which actually floated.
