Dear plop,

I Don't get it, what's the problem?

It seems you found all the info we need, all we've got to do now is to order them right?

There are two problems :

1. With each 3/5F6S being 34mm in length plus the metal former being say 1mm thick it means the length of the battery pack becomes ~70mm, since the metal former is doubled over on the length of the battery. The Aiwa PB-S5 battery is 68mm, anymore than this and you are likely to have issues closing the battery door on the Aiwa.

2. The link I supplied is for alibaba.com, it is for a Chinese manufacturer/wholesaler. So in all probability you're going to need to buy in bulk just to have a couple to test with, with the risk of validating point 1. Do you know of a supplier that can supply them of smaller amounts?

Don't get me wrong, aside from the above points then it is actually quite good news. Smile They've managed to double the PB-S5 mAh capacity to 550, and devise a way of diverting the negative pole back to the negative battery contact. Definitely kudos for that, and kudos to you for finding it. Big Grin Smile
