Scroll to bottom to see recent pictures. First ones are from Ebay auction I bought from. Greetings all my 2nd post. I started collecting cassette walkmans few months ago... res erected my old high end stereo and spent my kids inheritance addicted to research and acquiring walkmans especially other than the sound god Sony.. but have some. ( Too many people wanna spend too much money on Sony) Fell upon this Sony Boodo Khan Body System BBS-10 and it really seems ULTRA RARE as almost nothing on net search shows up. Apparently the precursor to sound chairs maybe. My NOS in org. box Boodo Khan Body system BBS-10 with seat back woofer/controller, power amp and special boodo headphones -They have TWO plugs one smaller than other... headphones have separate base vibration driver that is NOT speaker powered. Just hooked up tonight and am in AUDIO WALKMAN NIRVANA. Amazing sound as sometimes the bass rattles your body bones and just mid/highs to headphones then the headphones join in with upper bass low tones making head rumble... sometimes its just one,two or can be all three(seat back, lows headphones and med/low to highs headphone speakers) amazing how they separated different lows. Must be some serious complex crossover. It looks in perfect new condition. I think only 200 made worldwide. Mine - serial number is #154. Bought this from a Chicago audio dealer had it since 87 lost back in warehouse. Says never used I believe him now that have. Only ravage of time is foam over drivers headphones inside ear can crumbling/sticky a bit.( any ideas how to repair?), Seller remembers it as a promotional item sold to large audio dealers. Only thing missing is owner manual but located service manual tonight and ordered.
Regards John
PS anything ANYONE can tell me about this system greatly appreciated or if another member has one lets talk.

the boodo khan is tooo hyped.
i've red it's a WM-DD2+
i don't have one, so i don't know it's performance. 50 euro should be enough for this unit. i think the DC2 and DD9 are the better ones.
I purchased a DC2 few weeks ago, AWESOME performing player. I agree Boobo walkman a bit overrated but still a FINE player from sony. This boodo khan body system did NOT come with the player was a promotional item limited to a few hundred units world wide to show the ability of the boodo khan walkman as source to provide amazing pounding bass and vibration and great sealed headphone performance like a live rock concert.. WHICH IT TOTALLY DOES... all without causing others in home distress from pictures falling off walls ;-)
When I was a kid, I remember my dad getting the DAK catalog. They had something like this that you put around your neck and hung on you chest. It was shaped like a very long flexable, cool, cloth covered rectangle. They called it the "Bone-Box". It was said to take advantage of the inaudible bass--and you would FEEL the music!
ok john,,,i just gotta ask ya....???? how well does this work ? i have one of those panasonic vibrating headphones which are new and came sealed with the player inside also. it might be a bit more "cool" if the earpiece didn't feel like it was trying to gain entrance to the innards of ones brain. i mean it can really hurt after a while. they needed to have some padding to make it comfortable. the idea, in itself, makes sense but it wouldn't hurt to apply a nice piece of foam padding.
Can you share the service manual with us?
I do not know how to post as the service manual is in 5 PDF files on my computer. How do I post ?
PDF is a pain sometimes. AA I sent the 5 pdf files to you in a email.
i have learned a bit about super glue a couple of weeks ago. my little bottle tipped over and when it dried the towel was glue very tightly to the vinyl table top plastic. it there was some way to lay a piece of foam in the heaadphone cavity and then glue some nice piece of material over it it may hold the foam in place inside your bodoo kahn headphones. it may work but i am not sure. just try small sample area to see if it holds tightly..
