Hiya, it would be useful if anyone can read Japanese or even have a friend who understands Japanese as i have looked at that yahoo as well as China but helpless that they have decent walkmans still in boxes. Where we fight nail and tooth and break our backs (well not really) to find some of these models.

I remember they had a green Aiwa J08 as that also had to be rare. I even saw a yellow Aiwa HS P06

Silence is not golden now if you wish to find stuff on that Japanese website as there is a website that translates it for you and you can also make paypal payments to this account so you can bid on it and if you win it will also transport it to your address. It is very good.

But like everything else it charges to use it.

When you put the funds in as a minimum of 3000 yen approx £23 you have to paypal fees which is very small. ( i think 3%) just like some Germany ebayers sometimes charge

So now you have 3000 yen in the account.

Let's say a walkman was 3000 yen all your money is gone.

When it arrives at this warehouse or place it will always costs 300 yen (bank fees) 500 yen comission (fees) then the seller shipping fees which in general it is very reasonable.

So now that 3000yen + 300 yen + 500 yen + approx 650 yen total is 4450 yen (£35)

And now the shipping prices as it will varies if you want air or surface mail.

Believe me as air mail is very quick but surface mail is much much cheaper but upto two months depending where you live.

The best way to get the costs down it to have a few walkmans as you can hold them for about seven days and send it as one lot.

Also be aware of custom charges as it may be applicable.
