Hello,
Not really a collector of Walkmans but wondering if i-pod collecting has begun as a hobby. I see Apple has released a new i-pod nano and just curious if any of you Walkman collectors have room in your hearts for the digital successors.
Anyone have pictures of i-pod collections?
EL ROJO GRANDE,
...YUH BEST KEEP MOVIN' THROUGH THIS HERE TOWN, PARTNER...OUR FOLK DON'T MUCH TAKE A LIKIN' TO THUH I-POD....
But seriously, your inquiry is welcomed and I understand what you're saying. Personally, I prefer the analog stuff, but there are people already collecting I-pods, especially the earlier ones.
Not an I-pod fan myself. I like things with moving parts. I suppose its the engineering of the portable cassette player that interests me most.
yes...nice picture!

Very interesting...
Cris' way of saying it's all kicking off...
If I were honest, I use an iPod every day.

Oh yes I really must just tune into The Archers on BBC Radio 4 long wave with my trusty old 1950s valve powered wireless set. Shame it's portability range is limited only by the length of it's power flex of 3 feet from the wall.

Personally I love the walkman because they are analog and have a micromechanics more interesting than the watches. I do not like the iPod, I only have one in my collection, new in its box, a Sony NW-MS9, to see it close to the walkman. The walkman it's much more beautiful.
