After seeing millions of 90's Sonys and thousands of cheap 80's junk, I finally found some semi-jems this week.
Panasonic RQ-J36....This unit was behind the counter but I noticed the silver case right away. I started drooling when I saw the built in stereo mic for recording. This unit is nice, near mint along with the cover (although there's a little tape residue on the cover), I might have to try it out when Kraftwork comes to town in a couple weeks. $3.00
Sony NW-S23...A really cool little MP3 player, I think it's 512mb, not much but it's a "sports" model with rubber overmolding on the buttons and also looks like it's never been used. Came with books, earbuds and CD. $2.00
Panasonic RF-H20 FM Stereo....Neat little radio, I loved the color and the quality of the knobs and buttons. I think it was around $0.60
Toshiba KT-S3...Another great mid-line unit with the highly collectable AM-FM tuner cartridge. This one came with a case, everything looks like it might have been used 3-4 times, not a scratch on it. $2.00

Awesome cool finds,
The panasonic looks really nice. How does the radio cassette work?
The radio cassette fits in the cassette tray. There's a button on the player for radio/tape. The radio cassette has contacts on the back for power/sound and a small wheel on the front for tuning and a switch for stereo/mono.
It will only work in a Toshiba Unit that has the contacts on the inside.
Whoa!, that is such a great find!!
I always dream about finding such nice walkmans
in te wild
The panasonic is extra fantastic
WOW!!!! looks like you had a great day for sure, very nice finds!!!!

If we are thinking about the same band, their name is Kraftwerk.
I know they released most songs in Ger/Eng versions, but not their name AFAIK
Been on their concert in my hometown in 05 (just 1000 or so people), "fan" since the 80s.
Oh, and nice stereos btw; man I wish we had thrift stores over here...
