I contatcted a friend of my dad who is now President of Sony Corp in the USA.



1. Sony SRF-80W release date is March 1,1980 these are not guesses these are the real dates !!!!!

2. Sony SRF-40W release date is June 1,1980

3. Sony SRF-33W release date is January 1, 1981

4. Sony SRF-30W release date is August 1, 1981

5. Sony SRF-16W release date is May 1, 1987

6. Sony SRF-19W release date is May 1, 1987



Well these are some of the official date that came from Sony.
I am putting together a data base of official release dates of all Sony Walkmans...
