Over the years, I have had a fair few portable players... but I cant help wondering if I can find an old Toshiba model.
Here is all I remember about it, as it was a long time ago...
pretty compact, about the smae size as an Aiwa HS PO5.
Black
The FFWD and RWD buttons were actually on the front infront of the spool hubs.
It didnt have a tuner on it
Possibly Dolby B
This would have been somewhere between 1986 to 1989?
It came with a nice ridged carry case...
Its not one of the ones pictured on the pocketcalculator website.
Anyone have any idea what it could be?
Is it a Toshiba KT-4017 by any chance?I had that walkman in 1988 when I was 15 years old and in my freshman year of high school at St. Francis North.80s walkmans rule ! Kristi Carr.
I'll Got KT-4176.
I'll dig a pic out
One question, can you tell me if the FF & RR buttons were transparent, i.e. you could see the capstains through them.
Mmmmmm, I remember where the buttons were, and I would say I am 70% sure they were clear.
I seem to recall they were square, aith a slight bevel.
next week i get a prospect from Toshiba 1985
maybe i can find it there
Try these...
The red one, but in black (possibly). Any chance of seeing the controls?
Thanks
