The Aiwa HS-P5/HS-P05 is a beautiful and compact Aiwa-mine is in a pretty white.

It's made out of mostly metal-giving it a nice and solid feel and is quite durable.

A slide switch is used to open the casette holder-which is a handy feature.

Along one side is silver colored buttons for play/F FWD and REW-unlike some players the buttons when pressed gives a audible "click".

On the top-stop button, a headphone and DC jack.

A full silent stop system is used which will stop the cassette tape at the appropriate time, and does that silently.


Playing Michael Jackson's Dangerous with a pair of Aiwa earphones, the HS-P05 gave a impressive performance-the sound was immaculate.

Mine also had its strap attached and is in a fine condition-for $3 it was impressive to find this 1983 player.
