Hello!
In Argentina there's a crazy man selling a Toshiba Kt-s2 in u$s 500.- :P
http://articulo.mercadolibre.c...a-kt-s2-ano-1981-_JMA few days ago a Buyed the same just u$s 15 in a flea market here in Argentina.
Saludos!
That's nuts!
I know... all I want is the am module...
That is ridicilous!, I did pay for my new in the
box KT-S1 €19.95
and that one is not even worth that much new in the box when I would sell it ( which I do not )
I've read that some days ago.
I wanted to put a comment in the article but it was locked. The seller said that it is a HI-FI walkman. I'm not a walkman guru, but it's an early walkman. Too early to match a HIFI
standard like some Sony DD.
Perhaps the turner modules are rare and the walkman is beatifull and vintage .. but I'm sure he won't sell it.
A toshiba like this had been sold in only 30 dollars some months ago (only come with the FM module). The seller is crazy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And he isn't alone .....
My uncle had a Toshiba with a blue module for FM. I was a child, so I don't remeber if it was the same model .. At this time looked extremely high-tech for me !!!!
Hola!

saludos.
I never knew there was both an AM and FM cartridge. I've got two of these, now I have to check what they have (they only have one each). I have a feeling the AM is nearly non-existant and I'm thinking the AM is red and the FM is blue....
i have a kt-as1 that has the am-fm tunerpac combined in one unit. in the walkman museum there is a picture of this tuner pac sitting on top of a unit with an antenna. i have never seen one of these (bottom units) which the tuner pac attaches too so it is an individual radio combo with no cassette function. do these really exist in the wilds or just an idea or prototype.
Hello
Here in Argentina Toshiba sold KT-S2 with both AM and FM cartriges. FM blue, AM red. I have both.

There are giants differences in prices with the KT-S2 on eBay

you probably have heard the old saying "let the buyer beware"..this is a perfect example.
