oopss i forgot
it came with these too
this walkman has one tiny blemish and this walkman absolutely has been unused.
well i did use it just now to make sure it worked so that was a bit of a lie.
so yeah i am pretty sure i was the first person to open the battery cover. no i did not use the original batteries.
Very nice Bill!!!!!!
thanks its the best walkman i have found. in fact its the best condition collectible audio i have found. i still am dumbstruck with the condition of it.
Wow, that's incredible. Boxed DDii's are very rare. What was the story behind why it was in the noodle shop.
well the woman didnt speak very good english i mean barely spoke english is more like it.
this place sells noodles videos and other japanese food things. there was a box in the display case and at first i thought it was just a empty box i mean i didnt expect there to be a boxed walkman sitting in a case filled with strange japanese candies and knick knacks.
when i asked her if i could see the box she looked at me like i was a little strange.
i took a look at it and my jaw dropped.
from what i sort of gathered from the story is they used to own a gift shop in japan and this was left over stock.
i will be returning to this noodle shop soon to see what else they have in thier storage.
the best way to find great treasures...
I am on the way to my nearest noodle-store right now!!!
This is a beauty walkman and one of the finest Sony ever, I wish this christmas to obtain a boxed DD like yours, hey, it is amazing to see the original batteries, please, search any date on the box or in the cards inside, and of course is a very very collectable Walkman Sir!
thanks man. i looked at the paper work inside and it is dated 1982. for sure this came from japan too as most of the paper work is in japanese. the warranty card is inside there too.
Cool...
Really cool to obtain something like your DD. I'm jealous
Hey, you know almost the same way you found your DD, I found my marvelous RC-M90 one day in a store?
We are blessed man....
that is amazing. you know i have a feeling i will find me a rc-m90 sometime. these treasures are still out there in the wild.
have a awesome weekend man
