I finally found a boxed minty walkman at Goodwill. It's the Sanyo M-G55 and it's fully functional although it could use a tuneup, it included the original box, manual and headphones. It still has Duracell batteries in it that are dated "Best By 1994" and they work, I was playing a tape using these batteries. Now that's a testament to old Duracell batteries.

I've had several items that I couldn't remove the price from because the ink had already become a permanent mark by the time I got them home.
