I came across a D3 in MINT condition, new in box with all accessories. I tested all functions and it works perfectly. What is a fair asking price for this unit? Also, is it common for the D3's develop the cracked drive gear problem (as with the DC2)?

There's a lot of these around & yes, they do suffer from the dreaded cracked wheel. If yours is free from this nastiness then it's a rare beasy indeed.

I actually have not seen many D3's mint new in box. Have seen more D6C's mint new in box. Let me know where you've seen the D3's. I can do a history search if they've been on eBay.

go a boxed d-3 myselfe, but mic and headphones r missing...wich ones do i have to look for ?
