I just purchased one of these on ebay a couple of months back...was my first ever walkman as a kid so happy to have got it in such good condition



 Does anyone know if this model was ever released with am/fm?

I'm not sure Chris if that unit had am/fm. I know the Sanyo M- G34DTA did (it was my first as well!. It had a "cassette" you inserted into the player and just like that.. am/fm!

Hi guys - thanks for the feedback, yes it was new in box, it even had the demo tape in it as I remembered as a teenager. It cost me $20USD, so I was very happy  especially that I had been searching for this particular model (because of the sentimental value) for some time and then to find it in mint condition was a real bonus!

Nice clean original item.  Weren't Jack Berg selling these until quite recently?
