hello all im new to this forum,but im an old school head i just purchased a toshiba kt-4978 stereo cassette player about the same size as a cassette tape,this thing is NICE,has auto reverse,dolby,and dbss and the sound is excellent soon as i put the gumstick battery in, it started right up with excellent sound,but i cant find a drop of info on it. I dont have a computer so i cant post any pics but soon as i can i will.I plan on keeping this in my collection
Hi analoged, welcome to the forum. Sounds like a nice find. Some of Toshiba's personal cassette designs were excellent, some were quite dodgy. I'm intrigued with the fact that yours is powered by a gumstick battery. We'd love to see some photos.
Thanks for welcoming me to the forum,this toshiba is very sweet and must have been high end product.Im doing everything on my antiquated t-mo dash and i need flash on my phone to post pic.I will find a way soon because i would like you all to see it.
