Hey Glen, (from gloucester ?, just a hunch)
Not really sure about the micros, I see them on ebay from time to time, there are some mini boomboxes with micro decks in but only a few.
Other members can probably give you a better idea of the model names though ebay would be a good place to start.

I have two mint (and I mean mint) condition sets of the Panasonic RN-36 spy microcassette recorders - complete with the powered speaker, earphones, microphone, carrying case, power supply, and manual - look it up and let me know if you're interested in one of them.

There is a JVC D-M3 on ebay now.
bob42 - 2014-06-05 06:04
Had a JVC DM3 for years works fine & considering the format sounds good, have a lot of metal based tapes recorded, sound much better than regular micro tapes, also have couple of Olympus 77 hand held,a JVC hand held & packed away a Grundig hanedheld with FM & AM tuner, there were a lot of models sold here in UK in the seventies,I bought my JVC deck in Selfridges if I rememer right,HyperFi in Barking sold a lot of models including Sony,I remember seeing an attache case unit with turntable regular cassette & micro at Gatwick duty free once
