The Ultimate SONY Walkman...
walkman.archive - 2011-12-28 07:24
I've found an image of some kind of strange Sony walkman, that seems to be a cheap chinese copy... that even has AIWA's Superbass system! LOL!
It's like a Frankestein Walkman, with some AIWA stuff and some SONY stuff in the same unit...
Did you ever see anything like this?

i bet corry meant SonWa aka Aiwny
walkman.archive - 2012-10-07 02:23
Oh, got it. Sorry. At first sight, "SonWa" sounds like a very small, almost unknown chinese or korean brand that focuses in release crappy products mainly copied.
Then it could be SonyWa or AiwaNy ;-)

raymond queneau, the french writer, worked for a long time on an (unfinished) encyclopaedia of inexact sciences. eventually his project became a novel, les enfants du limon (children of clay). jorge louis borges, the argentinean writer, wrote the book of imaginary beings, a sort of xx century update of medieval bestiaries--you know those books describing the phoenix the unicorn and the chimera, among other mythic animals. so maybe as the_walkman_archive you may contemplate the idea of filing away also the inexact/imaginary walkmen like the Sanwa/Aiwny on display at www.shizaudio.ru

Is Grundig BB285 the Orginal model or is it the Sony version?
Does anybody know?
What is so special about this one, ( other than looking like parts of other brands ) any technical data known?
