Years of Manufacture Query

Hi all,
I have 2 Walkmans I'm trying to figure out the years of manufacture for and they're not included in the Database on this Site or anywhere else too readily either it seems - hopefully someone can help.
The first one is a Sharp JC-196H(BK)?
The other one is a Sanyo MGR82. On the database in this Site it states the year of manufacture for the Sanyo MGR80 is 1985, so would it be reasonable to assume the MGR82 would be 1985 as well?
