The player has orig. box, but no inserts and no headphones but seller states that it is in working condition and recording function does work ( I emailed him on eBay).  The headphones sadly are missing but it has the almost never to be found AM/FM/TV radio cassette module.  He says new but you can see player has some scratches although not many and seems in very good condition.  Starting bid is $473 USD item is located in Moscow Russia he has 108 feedback at 100%.  Of all places for this to appear.   This should be one very interesting auction to watch !  7 day auction ends Aug. 15th

Of note the player probably does work even with orig. belts unchanged.   My RX-HD10 had orig. belts, played well and recorded although very odd it seemed to record at half speed put upon playback was normal.   I must say that out of all brands the early Panasonic's 80 to 86 most of them work fine still with orig. belts which is amazing considering most other brands this can not be said of although have few Sony's still working in that age bracket with orig. belts.  Seems to me Sanyo/Fisher and Toshiba are worst most seem to have function problems belt and otherwise in early models.

Where's our resident rare walkman in a box collector, Minty? This is the sort of thing he'd go for.

Not for me. I like limited edition Walkmans. Anniversary models. I don't think this one is worth the money the seller is looking for it to be honest.

I'm after a WM-3EX. Gold edition EX1HG. Boodo Khan. In that order. Can anyone tell me the model number of the anniversary model Panasonic released? Came in a special presentation box. Just can't find the model number.

Ahh you mean like this beautiful limited edition AIWA?

It's cheap too (in more ways than one)

Seriously though, you have got good taste in what you've chosen.
