Wish I did, I never seen one in the flesh before. Oh, the stares I would get on the subway with one of those bad boys. 

 now that looks nice.....never really managed to track down a really early portable cd of any make other than a sony one i once had from around 89 i think but it soon went as it was knackered

Styling wise this looks a lot like a Toshiba XR-J9 but this one was made portable whereas the Tosh was mains only. Looks lovely.
