i am searching for a cassette player, from the 80s i think..
- durable
- easy to repair / service friendly (old board with fat soldering points, no digital crap like displays, station memory, etc)
- auto reverse
- radio
thats it .. it doesn`t matter if plastic or metal housing...

Maybe an AIWA HS-J08, with feather touch buttons. Or do you prefer classic buttons? -> HS-J600

that aiwas don`t look very service friendly, seem to packed full of button and technics... i am searching for an easy to repair tank ...

I'll vouch for the wm-f18/28. I bought one brand new in 1982 and it still works great! Original belt too!
