Ahh... yes. I've been watching the steady stream of DC2s that have been listed on eBay. There sure has been a trickle turning up of late. They are all fetching over a ton as well. Plenty of interest on the net, both from sellers and buyers alike.

It turns out the clicking gear wheel is pretty bad generating a lot of wow during playback. I have pm'd dottor walkman to see if he can accept it for repair. I'm not sure where in the world he is based or even if he does such repairs on request but it is worth a try . I'm living in Ireland btw.

I have had moderate success fixing the centre gear in mine with some JB Weld epoxy.

I have absolutely no confidence in myself taking on such a task. Besides, Dottor Walkman has obliged......made my day. 

Looks like a fair deal.

Cosmetically it is very good indeed.
