Recently bought a walkman off teh bay, boxed with carry case and manual, no headphones. It's a Toshiba KT-4087 had a bin price of £12.99. Done a quick google of it has loads of features but don't really know much about walkmans. Did I do good?

For that money its a great little player. If it needs a belt ( most likely) here is link to topic on person that has same model and DocP member here helped him get right size belt its listed in topic. Let us know how it turns out when you get it and some photos.

A few pics I found of it. Looks like it has pretty much everything you need on a personal cassette player/recorder. Retailed for $150 back in 1987 Made in Japan.

Would've liked to see it out of the box but you've got to be quick with these BIN bargains and not mess about asking questions. As it is I'm spent up until the end of time now anyway so good job I didn't click BIN!
Hope its a goodun, be sure to let us know how it turns out

So it arrived today, didn't even bother putting batteries in, took it apart to reveal gooey belt, on the plus side it's in great condition with it's box, user manual, leather carry case and two pieces of paper in German one stating it was number 1062/1984 maybe imported directly to Germany? Anyone know how to get to the pulleys so I can fit my belt?
