Mint Condition WM-EX80 Questions

Hey all, recently purchased a mint condition WM-EX80. It was a steal. Even came with a pair of perfect condition in-line remote earbuds. However, upon purchasing this slice of 90s nostalgia it has occurred to me that this device does not have a typical headphone input jack. It looks like only the remote attachment can carry sound out of the player. Am I right in thinking this? If so, how can I listen to it with a different pair of headphones? I'm kind of a connoisseur of Sony products and enjoy listening to electronic music on my massive XB1000's. Was hoping to try them out on this player if there is a way...
Tapes are making a comeback for some indie electronic artists so this will be sort of a bummer being confined to the remote earbuds. Let me know if there's a way to splice the cord or if there were different attachments made that I can go searching the interwebs for. Thanks!

As far as I know they once sold adapters for the Sony plug to a normal 3,5mm jack. At least I got a couple of them with my EX-808. No idea if they still sell them somewhere, but someone here knows it for sure

Welcome to the forum!
Find the adapters is not easy. It may be a better plan to purchase a similar walkman like the 808 if it has one and use that. There's quite a few of these models (that use the adaptor) kicking around Ebay at any given time.
Grab a broken one for parts and scavenge it for the remote

I see...it would definitely be worth it as the player itself is pretty much flawless. Being a noob to the world of vintage Walkmen collection could someone give me a list of the players that had the same remote connection? Would be much appreciated.

Great! Thanks for the help. I've contacted the seller to see if he can ship to the US. I've actually never seen that adapter before, but it's exactly what I need. Otherwise I've found a lot of good condition remotes w/ the headphone port on it, but there all on very expensive Taiwan auctions.

Think I just found the gold mine. Wouldn't mind having a second mint condition EX80. The player is amazing!
