Info WM-DD30?

Hellloooo allSmile

I just recently bought a WM-DD30 off eBay. It is in pristine condition, no scratches whatsoever, etc, looks like brand new. Got it cheap as it was advertised as not working. Turned out it was just a loose battery cableSmile Lucky me!

Long story short, I just recently started collecting old walkmans and I can't find anything about the DD30 I have just bought. It is just a regular DD30, BUT has printed MEGABASS on the front panel.

Is that a rare walkman???

Thanks for your help!!!

Hi sajin, cheers for swinging by.

The DD30 was the walkman that got me into this hobby.

The DD30 was based on the glorious DC2 but without the expensive (& potentially redundant) Dolby C circuit.

Take a look at the usefull links I put together in the Walkman Chat section & you should find a lot of stuff on the DD30.

Yeah DD30 is a nice player. More stylish than the previous DD models but lacked dolby c and more importantly, the amorphous heads of the DC2 units.
