Wonder, I could not recognize any loss of resolution in sound in the tape versus high end source.

Then I take the Maxell cassette and place it into my walkman.

Listening with headphone amplifier the sound is on dynamics distorted.
... i thought i did record to hot or that the head electronics of the walkman do not this amount of hottest magnetic energy ?
