Hi, im new here and to working on these and i have just purchased a wm-f10 which i have gotten apart and found the only problem to be the belt came off the path and twisted around the motor. I cant seem to find any usable images to show me how it is routed.

Here's a picture of the belt path on WM-10 but it's the same on the F10.If the belt has come off it will be stretched and you shouldn't try to re-use it.If the belt has started to break up check no pieces have gone into the motor as it is an open design.

Where did that circled piece come from?

i think that was just a picture from an old form when somebody had it fall out of place. don't worry about it. it doesn't happen often. it was a shim or something which seated the case around the headphone input if i remember right.
