I cant find any advices for fixing that DC2 cracked gear, if someone could help me with linking some addresses..
I am also interested to buy replacement gear if there is somewhere..

since I just fixed mine, here's my method:

I take an old gear with similar teeth from a junked walkman (in this case it was a WM-2095's Direction gear) And cut a couple of teeth off, and superglue it in with another bit of plastic on top to support it.

The fit of the teeth was not perfect so I adjusted it by heating a knife up with a flame and using it to slightly alter the teeth until it goes smoothly.



Check the auto-stop and play functions as these are dependent on the center gear.

So far my repair is holding up great. There's still a little "thump" sound, but no more clicking and it does not affect wow and flutter, so it works well. See my other thread:
