Hi all,
I have a complete kit of boodo khan, with his original headphones, but the earpads have strong signs of use and the foam in the middle have almost disappeared.
Do anyone have ideas about if this can be repaired? Do you think that the earpads can be taken from another modern and cheap headphones and use to that old headphone? I also know Sennheiser sells earpads for some of their headphones.
You can see here:
Regards,
Aren't these pads similar to the other Sony Pro headphones like the MDR-7505 or MDR 7506?
Hi hurodal
Congratulations on your Boodokhan Set
The erarpads from MDR-7506( SONY Part No. X-2113-124-1 ) a little too small. These are dimension 100mm X 75mm
I've used those with 110mmX90mm dimension.
These are good for your DR-S100.I have the same.

You also can sit on them when your bottom hurts

Thanks Rengzi,

Are they made of plastic or are they of leather?
If not, are there leather or high quality available anywhere?
And , how do I change them? It seems they are glued and I'm scared of using my screwdriver to crack the plastic trying to move apart the plastic parts.
The new pads are made of plastic.
The quality is good.
I use my DRS-100 headphones with this almost every day since February 2010.
You have to tear off old pad, then see the screw.
The sticky mass on the membran you have to carefully remove it with tweezers and toothpick. Completely !!
Important:
The white flowing material must remain there, otherwise bass is not good.
I have mounted the new pads ones with white craft glue .

Hi,
I've just see that the ear pads are just the same size than my Sennheiser HD280, and taking in mind than I needed a pair for the sennheiser, I ordered two original sennheiser ear pads ;-)
Maybe old ones are then useful to sit over them when bottom hurts, walkgirl?
