Sanyo Knob Switch Trim

mehyar - 2008-02-24 06:25

I received my Sanyo MGR650D yesterday from a
very nice ebay seller in Canada and it is
the BEST Walkman I have ever had, and I have
had so many.....

The sound and build quality and the FM tuner and cassette
and specially the 4 band Equalizer are ALL top class.

Only thing missing is a switch knob trim
that controls the Direction and FF/REW.

The metal knob is exactly 4mm X 1mm and I have its picture
included.

If you have a tiny switch trim that fits this knob; please PM me.

Thanks.

Can make one from scratch usually if you can't find a new one or duplicate from an existing one...just need external and internal dimensions and surface finish specs.
For example the outer surface might be like one of those typical ridged silvery sliders with edges thinner and plain, rided portion thicker & higher. Inner surface needs a slot to correspond to the switch....4mm X 1mm
So what are the various other dimensions

a rough guideline:

DocP , thanks for your reply and drwaing.

A silver plastic trim will do just fine, but
it has to fit in a tight area.

As seen from the pictures, when it is engaged
to Left or Right sides for << or >> it only
has 1 mm clearance from the side of it hole.

1 + 1 for knob + 1 = 3 overall Thickness of Trim

1 + 4 for knob + 1 = 6 overall Width of Trim that goes inside the hole, and a small optional skirt can be put on outside as seen in your drawing.

3 + 5 = 8 Tallness of Trim
